Product packaging is made for an unspecified large number of people and the usability such as an easiness to use and understand shall be highly demonstrated.

With the packaging design, brand, shape, and how they are displayed, consumers perform their purchasing behaviour of preferred products based on their instant perception.  Primary goal of the usability is to convey the attractiveness of a product to consumers – as the one engaging in packaging design, it is a key that the design specification is easy to produce and understand during the production process after designing of the packaging.

This year 2018, Sweden and Japan celebrate 150 year of diplomatic relation.  Sweden and Japan are both forest rich countries and advanced in product packaging design in sustainable way.  Packaging designers from both countries will discuss how we can create the usability for packaging design.
