How to secure reliable sustainability data and how this affects packaging development.

What should you keep in mind when comparing life cycle assessments (LCA)? And what’s the difference between an LCA, EPD, and PEF?
Understanding the climate impact of different packaging options and comparing the right data can be complicated. Different LCAs can give different results, depending on who you ask. As the need for carbon footprint data grows and reporting becomes stricter due to new laws like the Green Claims Directive and CSRD, it's more important than ever to use accurate and trustworthy data with clear sources.
Emma Hellqvist from Billerud is here to help us navigate the complex world of environmental data, explain how Billerud works with EPDs, and how this affects packaging development.
